Google recently brought welcome news for Android users on two fronts: expanding availability of their seamless Quick Share transfer feature beyond Samsung, while detailing an extensive fix for the dreaded Pixel storage bug causing growing pains since early January.

First, Google’s rapid file sharing capability called Quick Share is escaping the walled Samsung garden. After formal CES announcements previewing expanded device support, Quick Share is officially beginning to rollout for modern Pixel phones and other non-Samsung Androids.
